Foundry & Brick Residential Management was built on a simple belief: property management should be done with experience, integrity, and intention not volume. After decades in the real estate and property management industry, Christen McConnell and her daughter, McKenna McConnell, set out to create something different. Not a large, impersonal firm focused on growth at all costs, but a boutique company where every property and every client truly matters.
Christen McConnell, Founder & CEO, brings over 20 years of experience across residential sales, property management, construction, and development. Having grown up in the industry, she has managed commercial, industrial, multifamily, and single-family assets, and worked her way up through nationally recognized firms. Christen ultimately served as a West Coast Divisional Manager for a multi-billion-dollar investment company, where she led large teams, oversaw high-performing markets, and earned multiple industry recognitions, including a Presidential Award for leadership and results. After returning to the Charleston market and focusing on single-family portfolios, Christen continued to grow strong client relationships while mentoring her daughter, McKenna. As demand for her hands-on management grew, it became clear there was an opportunity to build something more aligned with her values.
McKenna McConnell, Co-Founder & Property Management Specialist, leads the day-to-day operations of the company. Having grown up in the business, she quickly transitioned into her role as a licensed agent and Property Manager-in-Charge (PMIC). McKenna brings a detail-oriented, relationship-driven approach, ensuring each property is managed with care, responsiveness, and consistency. Together, they built Foundry & Brick with a focus on transparency, strong communication, and doing what is right for both owners and tenants. Rather than scaling without structure, the company takes a curated approach managing a select portfolio to ensure every asset receives the attention it deserves. This is not a high-volume model. This is a high-accountability model. Based in the Charleston Tri-County area, Foundry & Brick is committed to delivering a more intentional, relationship-driven approach to property management—built on experience, trust, and doing things the right way.

Aaron McConnell
Maintenance & Asset Preservation Director
Aaron McConnell serves as the Maintenance & Asset Preservation Director for Foundry & Brick Residential Management, where he leads all aspects of property maintenance, repairs, and long-term asset protection across the company’s portfolio.
With over two decades of experience in construction and property maintenance, Aaron brings a deep, hands-on understanding of how to properly care for and preserve residential assets. As a Residential Construction Manager, he has built a reputation for identifying issues early, executing solutions efficiently, and ensuring that every property under management is maintained to the highest standard.
At Foundry & Brick, Aaron oversees the entire maintenance division with a proactive, solutions-driven approach. His focus is not just on fixing problems, but on protecting the long-term value of each asset while delivering a seamless experience for both owners and tenants.
Aaron is committed to responsiveness and accountability, ensuring that maintenance concerns are addressed quickly and thoroughly. Tenants are never treated like just another work order in a queue—instead, each issue is handled with urgency and care, creating a better living experience and reducing long-term risk for property owners.

Matthew Dalton
Field Technician
Matthew Dalton serves as a Field Technician for Foundry & Brick Residential Management, providing essential support in the field and assisting the maintenance division with work orders, property visits, and special projects across the portfolio.
A native of Goose Creek, Matthew brings a strong local presence and a hands-on, solutions-driven approach to his role. In addition to his work with Foundry & Brick, he has built a successful business as a Telecommunications Infrastructure Contractor, giving him a unique skill set and technical expertise that translates seamlessly into the property management space.
At Foundry & Brick, Matthew plays a key role in supporting day-to-day field operations, ensuring that maintenance needs are addressed efficiently and that properties are consistently maintained to the company’s high standards. Whether assisting with repairs, inspections, or specialized projects, he is known for his reliability, responsiveness, and commitment to getting the job done right.
Matthew’s combination of technical experience, work ethic, and local knowledge makes him a valuable extension of the maintenance team and an important part of delivering the high level of service Foundry & Brick is known for.
Frank Albanese
Acquisitions & Development Advisor
Frank Albanese serves as the Acquisitions & Development Advisor for Foundry & Brick Residential Management, bringing with him over five decades of experience in construction, real estate, and land development. Since 1970, Frank has been a successful owner and operator of multiple construction and development companies, building a respected career grounded in expertise, integrity, and results. His extensive background spans residential construction, large-scale development, and investment strategy, making him a trusted authority in evaluating opportunities and guiding long-term growth. Throughout his career, Frank has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the industry, including serving as President of the Building Industry Association (BIA) and earning the distinction of Builder of the Year. His deep understanding of land acquisition, development planning, and construction execution has played a critical role in the success of countless projects over the years. At Foundry & Brick, Frank provides strategic oversight and guidance on acquisitions and development opportunities, helping to ensure that every investment aligns with the company’s standards and long-term vision. His involvement adds a level of experience and perspective that is rare in today’s market, strengthening the foundation on which the company continues to grow. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frank’s influence is deeply personal—having passed down his knowledge, work ethic, and passion for the industry to the next generation.
